Ben's Notes

CotEU has pretty good classes, but there's no atmosphere.

Get it?

Anyway, watch for the 24-page miniseries about York's backstory, coming in March 2007. It's going to be entirely from the point of view of Jim, who's the &mdash well, I'd better not get into that right now. Let's just say there will be plenty of surprises, and maybe even a few familiar faces. So to speak.

Lewis's Notes

First, you can thank me that the punning was confined to Ben's comments.

Second, some of you might be curious about how things might have been with the comic. I'll give you a glimpse into one way the strip might have differed*:

9:13:58 PM factition: I have an idea.
9:14:09 PM factition: What if it takes place amid soup cans?
9:14:33 PM ultralewis: why?
9:14:40 PM factition: Why not?
9:14:45 PM ultralewis: ok
9:17:36 PM factition: Oh, wait.
9:17:46 PM factition: Are we trying to avoid pictures of humans in the comic?
9:18:19 PM ultralewis: umm, we don't want a picture of a human, not sure about pictures of depictions of humans
9:18:39 PM factition: Wolfgang Puck soup cans have a large human face on them.
9:18:51 PM factition: I think I'll just use a non-soup setting.

*Actually, the comic couldn't have been this way, because a logically necessary comic leaves no room for merely possible features. Proving this is left as an exercise to the reader.
