In learning to play the flute, I have found out that breathing is way more complicated than I realized. And for something that I've been doing pretty much non stop for almost 25 years, I still need a surprising amount of practice. If you think you may play a wind instrument at some point, I recommend you learn how to breathe now rather than waiting.
